Job Description Summary We are looking for a Medical Manager in Hematology to drive scientific excellence and deliver impactful medical strategy at country level. In this role, you will lead high-quality scientific engagement, translate evidence into meaningful insights, and partner cross-functionally to improve patient outcomes.
You will build strong relationships with Medical Experts and healthcare professionals, contribute to evidence generation, and act as a trusted scientific ambassador representing Novartis externally.
- Lead high-quality scientific engagement with healthcare professionals and Medical Experts, fostering credible, peer‑to‑peer dialogue grounded in evidence and patient needs.
- Design and deliver impactful medical education initiatives, including congress activities, scientific events, and learning programs aligned with therapeutic priorities.
- Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with key external stakeholders, including KOLs, rising experts, and scientific societies.
- Generate and translate actionable insights from scientific interactions into strategic inputs that shape therapeutic area priorities and medical plans.
- Contribute to evidence generation by supporting research activities, feasibility assessments, and scientific publication initiatives.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure aligned execution of medical strategies and maximize patient and business impact.
- Support market access readiness by integrating clinical and patient‑relevant evidence into strategic discussions and dossiers.
- Represent Novartis as a credible scientific leader at congresses, advisory boards, and external forums.
- Ensure all activities, materials, and engagements comply with medical governance, ERC requirements, and local regulations.
- Advanced degree in life sciences; fluency in English and Spanish; solid experience in Medical Affairs or related roles.
- Strong scientific credibility with the ability to engage confidently in high‑level peer‑to‑peer discussions with HCPs and experts.
- Proven ability to interpret clinical data, simplify complex evidence, and communicate scientific insights effectively.
- Deep understanding of medical governance, compliance standards, and ethical requirements.
- Strong capability to build and sustain trusted external relationships within the medical community.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across diverse, cross‑functional teams.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate insights into impactful medical actions.
- High level of professionalism, autonomy, and commitment to scientific excellence.
