- Confectionery:
Develop and enhance sweet delights, focusing on flavor, texture, and quality to meet - consumer satisfaction and safety standards.
- Proteins:
Work with a variety of protein sources to create and improve product formulations that - meet nutritional values and market trends.
- Beverages:
Innovate in the beverage sector by developing new drinks and enhancing existing ones to - ensure they are refreshing, healthy, and appealing.
- Meat Products:
Apply your knowledge in meat processing to advance our range of high-quality - meat products, focusing on taste, texture, and safety.
- Pet Products:
Create nutritious and delicious solutions for pet food, aligning with the latest health - standards and pet dietary needs.
- Supplements:
Formulate dietary supplements that support health and wellness with scientifically - proven benefits and superior quality.
- Lead development projects for clients, including sourcing ingredients, creating and validating formulations on bench, participating in and guiding cuttings with clients, and making recommendations for scale-up processing.
- Generate ingredient statements, nutrition facts panels, and allergen reports.
- Model costs for products in development & communicate with clients about how their choices impact cost outcomes.
- Prepare for and execute benchtop production runs according to client needs.
- Manage multiple ongoing projects and priorities simultaneously to deliver good outcomes to all of our clients.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field, plus at least 2
- years of food R&D experience.
- Proven experience in food product development, particularly in one or more of the specified areas.
- Experience bringing products to market with a track record of retention.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control measures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently as well and get the projects completed on time.
