Network Technician; I & II

This position involves facilities management support, and project engagement while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. • Patching cabling between network equipment and customer’s network
• Installation of power cables from equipment to power supply in rack/cabinet/closet
• Installation, troubleshooting and de-installing network equipment
• Install/swap out cables, switches routers and etc.
• Complete all hard and complex Move, Add Change (MAC) requests within the defined service levels
• Provide infrastructure cabling break-fix services for network infrastructure
• Power and uninterruptable power supply (UPS) restoral
• Support inventory management activities incl;
  Tagging of assets, Updating inventory records, Prepare and return damaged equipment
• Installing single and multi-mode optical cabling
• Installing copper cable to IEEE and BICSI cabling standards.
• Decommissioning obsolete networking infrastructure.
• Working with elevated and underfloor cabling trays.
• Performing physical (rack and stack) installations of networking equipment.
