The Opportunity

We're looking for a true multi-craft Industrial Maintenance Technician who can troubleshoot more than basic electrical circuits.

This is a hands-on maintenance role in a high-volume food processing environment where you'll be working across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls systems
. The strongest candidates will be able to work through a problem logically, read electrical prints and ladder logic, and get to the root cause rather than simply replacing parts.

The facility has been operating for nearly 70 years and has a long history of stability and experienced employees. This is an opportunity to join a team where skilled maintenance technicians are genuinely needed and have room to grow.

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment
  • Diagnose electrical problems beyond basic start/stop circuits
  • Read and interpret hard-copy electrical schematics and ladder logic prints
  • Trace control circuits and identify electrical faults
  • Troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, relays, contractors and control components
  • Use electrical test equipment to diagnose problems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical systems including conveyors, bearings, chains, gearboxes and processing equipment
  • Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and prioritize repairs
  • Identify recurring problems and work toward root-cause solutions
  • Complete maintenance documentation and communicate issues with the team
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to troubleshoot beyond basic start/stop circuits
  • Ability to read and understand hard-copy ladder logic/electrical prints
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience using electrical test equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently and methodically
  • Strong understanding of industrial maintenance and safety practices

Preferred:

  • PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Allen-Bradley or similar controls experience
  • Experience with 480V electrical systems
  • Sensors, relays, contractors and control circuits
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting
  • Conveyor and automated production equipment
  • Preventive maintenance experience
  • Food processing or similar high-volume manufacturing experience
Schedule & Pay

3rd Shift

  • Typically 9:00pm–7:00am
  • 50–60 hours per week
  • Saturdays are part of the normal work schedule
  • Significant overtime opportunity
  • $33–$37/hour base
  • +$1/hour 3rd shift premium
  • $34–$38/hour effective hourly rate

With the amount of overtime built into the schedule, this is a strong opportunity for a technician who wants to work hard and maximize their earnings
.

Why You'll Want to Work Here
  • Nearly 70 years of stability
  • Locally owned operation with a long history of employment stability
  • Consistent overtime opportunity
  • Work on a wide range of industrial equipment
  • True multi-craft maintenance environment
  • Opportunity to continue developing electrical and controls skills
  • Experienced team and approachable leadership
  • Benefits available after 60 days
  • Attendance and PTO programs
  • Strong maternity/paternity leave program
The Bottom Line

This isn't a basic maintenance position.

If you're the technician people call when they can't figure out why a machine isn't running, can read a ladder logic print, trace an electrical problem, and work through the mechanical side of the equipment too, this is the level of technician they're looking for.
