Land Structure is actively recruiting ex forces personnel for Landscape Operative roles. Training provided. Based in Old Stratford and Suffolk.

This role requires you to be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. That’s second nature to you. Unlike other applicants, you don’t need convincing that the job needs doing regardless of conditions.

Working to tight deadlines on complex sites requires clear communication and trust in your team. You’ve operated in far more demanding environments. Our projects, from housing developments to sports fields, need that same team coordination.

Every site presents different challenges. Your ability to assess situations, adapt plans, and solve problems makes you invaluable on projects where conditions and requirements change.

We’re looking for Landscape Operatives to join our established team. Whether you have landscaping experience or you’re looking to learn a new trade, we’ll provide the training you need.

You’ll work on diverse projects including new housing developments, creating green spaces, and maintaining professional sports fields. We understand the science behind making pitches playable all year round, and you’ll develop expertise across multiple areas of landscaping.

Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work)

Start time: 6:30am, typically finish by 4pm depending on site location

Based from our Old Stratford headquarters or Suffolk regional office

Work across various sites in the region

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions
• Team player who promotes a positive working environment
• Positive attitude and self-motivated
• Excellent attention to detail
• Willingness to learn (we’ll teach you the horticultural and technical skills)
• Full UK driving licence (preferable)
• CSCS card (preferable, or willingness to obtain)

Experience Not Essential: We’re willing to teach you the landscaping skills. What we need from you is the work ethic, discipline, and attitude – qualities you’ve already developed through your service.
