Location & Work Arrangement- City, state:
Indianapolis, IN (Remote‑First) - Work arrangement:
Remote (Candidates must reside in Indiana. Onsite presence in Indianapolis required on the first day for equipment pickup). - Interview mode:
Web Cam. - Shift: Training (4‑6 weeks) is 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST. Post‑training hours are 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM EST.
- Manage high‑volume inbound and outbound calls, assisting families in navigating the maternal and child life cycle.
- Conduct screenings and refer eligible pregnant women to home‑visiting services and community resources.
- Follow up with clients to ensure quality of service and successful connection to referred agencies.
- Assist clients with full Medicaid applications and work toward obtaining a navigator license.
- Develop in‑depth knowledge of Help Me Grow IN, Home Visiting, Special Education, and Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) programs.
- Identify gaps and barriers to services and report system‑issue trends experienced by families.
- Adhere to the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS) standards.
- Utilize the Vision Link Database to document cases and generate daily caller data reports (referrals, needs, call types).
- Maintain a detailed filing system and assist with mailing information packets and screening tools to families.
- Experience:
Working with maternal needs, special needs, or young children. 3 Years - Child Development:
Knowledge of typical and atypical child development. 3 Years - Data Systems:
Prior experience utilizing databases and producing reports. 3 Years - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Social Work, or related Health/Human Services field. - Tech Stack:
Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Bilingualism:
Proficiency in Spanish, Burmese, or Haitian‑Creole is highly desirable. - Crisis Management:
Ability to maintain composure and use good judgment during stressful calls (crisis/abuse). - I&R Standards:
Familiarity with Information and Referral (I&R) standards and Vision Link.
