As the Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of GenAI platforms, APIs, and web applications through robust testing methodologies and automation frameworks.

We are looking for a Test Engineer to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scenarios for cutting‑edge GenAI platforms, APIs, and web applications. This position will be full‑time and hybrid in Bangalore .

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scenarios for GenAI platforms, APIs, and web applications in Agile/Scrum environments

• Execute manual and automated functional tests for frontend (React/Angular) and backend (FastAPI, Node.js) applications

• Perform thorough API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or Pytest for RESTful and Graph
  
  QL endpoints

• Validate GenAI features including prompt responses, RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation) accuracy, and conversational flows

• Test integrations with enterprise systems, databases (Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, Open Search), and third‑party APIs

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Pytest

• Implement API automation for backend services and microservices testing

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions) for continuous quality assurance

• Conduct performance testing using JMeter, Locust, or K6 to validate scalability and response times

• Perform basic security testing including authentication validation, API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and data privacy checks

• Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA with clear reproduction steps and severity classification

• Generate test reports, quality metrics, and provide insights on release readiness

• Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC), test design techniques, and QA methodologies

• Hands‑on experience with manual testing (functional, regression, integration) and writing clear test cases

• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Pytest)

• Proficiency in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or Java) for automated test scripts

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions) and version control (Git)

• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular) and backend APIs (RESTful, Graph

• Familiarity with databases (SQL, Postgre

  DB) and ability to write basic validation queries

• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker) is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with developers, PM, and business users

• Proactive mindset with ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments

• Quick learner with curiosity to explore GenAI concepts and AI‑driven testing

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust) and security testing (OWASP Top 10)

• Familiarity with BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave) and testing microservices architecture

• Understanding of GenAI applications, testing LLM‑based conversational interfaces, and RAG accuracy validation

• ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent testing certifications

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
