POSITION SUMMARY

Lead Developer (ACIS)

• Analyzes designs, creates, enhances, and tests complex application software as senior personnel.
• Creates, enhances, and tests complex application software that operates efficiently and accurately.
• Works autonomously, guides/mentors other developers in the team.
• Troubleshoots issues and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy of application software.
• Uses knowledge of development language(s), development procedures, structured methodologies, and computer platform(s) to complete assignments and continues to expand knowledge in these areas as needed.
• Coordinates and schedules the tasks and activities to established objectives and takes appropriate action to ensure that objectives are achieved.
• Employs interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively coordinate interrelated activities with coworkers, end‑users, and management.
• Reports team progress and status to project leadership and/or management.
• Provides timely status updates.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation and organization skills.

Education & Experience

• 7+ years of experience as an iSeries AS400 full stack developer.
• Hands‑on experience with Synon, RPG, RPG 4.
• Solid experience designing, developing, installing, deploying, and supporting AS400 solutions.
• Solid experience with MQ integrations.
• In‑depth integration experience with external applications.
• Familiarity with 2E/CM, MOVEIT change‑management technologies.
