Node.js ​/ Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Node.js / Java Developer with 10+ years of software development experience to support enterprise applications in a Contract-to-Hire role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for application development, enhancements, production support, release management, and cloud-based integrations. This role requires expertise in Node.js, Java, AWS, SQL, CI/CD, and enterprise integration technologies, along with experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry.

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Node.js and Java.
• Analyze business requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.
• Perform application upgrades, production support, incident resolution, and data maintenance.
• Participate in release management, code reviews, and deployment activities.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, integrations, and data workflows.
• Build and support cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners.
• Ensure software quality through automated testing, continuous integration, and best development practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, application support, systems integration, or related technical roles.
• Experience in the health insurance or healthcare industry is required.
• Strong experience with Node.js and/or Java application development.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, web services, JSON, XML, and CSV.
• Experience with AWS Cloud, including AWS Glue.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Stored Procedures, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with development tools such as Git Lab, Jira, Postman, Move It, Stonebranch, Cyber Ark, and Team Dynamix (TDX).
• Experience supporting applications on Windows Server environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in Agile environments.
• Self-motivated with the ability to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
