Class A Driver – Home Weekly

Location: Altoona, PA

• Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,450

  • Does not include additional tailgate pay

• Pay Structure:

  • $0.58 per mile (new hires)

  • $0.59 per mile after 12 months on account

  • $18.00 per hour

• Home Time:

  • Home weekly

  • Home Friday afternoon/evening through Sunday evening

TA Dedicated is hiring Class A Drivers based in Altoona, PA
. This position offers weekly home time , consistent miles, and late-model equipment while running routes throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia.

• Routes: Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia

• Miles: Approximately 2,400 miles per week

• Equipment:

  • 2022 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner tractors

  • Tandem axle sleepers

  • Automatic transmissions

  • 53' dry van trailers with swing doors

• Freight Type:

  • Combination of drop & hook

  • Tailgating (moving freight to the back of the trailer for unloading)

• New Hire Transition Bonus: $500

  • Paid in full on second paycheck

• Referral Bonus: $3,000 total

  • $1,000 on second paycheck

  • $1,000 at 60 days

  • $1,000 at 120 days

• Stop Pay: $14 per stop (starting at first stop)

• Tailgate Pay: $10 per tailgate

• Minimum 6 months of recent tractor‑trailer experience

• Hazmat endorsement required

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Drivers must work all holidays except Christmas Day
