- Assess and assign all open events related to fleet operations
- Verify proper authorization is obtained before dispatching events
- Assign the nearest service provider for necessary vehicle repairs
- Communicate estimated time of arrival to customers and follow their instructions
- Inform the supervisor of any delays or problems with service providers
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (dispatching for breakdowns or medium to heavy-duty vehicle maintenance)
- Strong knowledge of medium to heavy-duty vehicle dispatching
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work in a 24/7/365 environment with flexible shifts
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Degree in a related discipline or additional industry experience
- Experience in customer service or problem-solving within the automotive sector
- Familiarity with fleet management software or tools
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
