Overview
OFS is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to be an integral part of our Accounting team, helping ensure accurate financial reporting and effective financial controls.
Responsibilities- Assist in preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports
- Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support month-end close processes
- Analyze transactions with internal and external stakeholders ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Assist in preparing documentation for annual audit
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Other financial duties as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance a requirement
- 1+ years of experience in field of accounting/finance a plus
- Public accounting experience a plus
- Strong communication and analytical skills needed
- Proficiency in Excel
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with general ledger and month-end close processes
- Exposure to financial reporting standards
