Responsibilities
- Maintain our balance sheet and monthly journal entries
- Prepare financial statements, schedules, and reports
- Process bi-weekly payroll, including tax filings and compliance
- Manage the full accounts payable and receivable cycles
- Track fixed assets and calculate depreciation in our accounting system
- Review and approve business expenses and corporate credit card charges
- Complete ad hoc accounting projects and analyses
- (Required) Have 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- (Required) Have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Have proficiency in Net Suite, Quick Books, or similar accounting software
- Have experience of working in fast-paced startup environments
- Are comfortable handling ambiguity and working with minimal supervision
- Take the initiative to apply your knowledge of processes and systems and recommend well‑considered improvements
- Know how to implement a change and are good at predicting what the effects of it will be; you know how to “get it right” the first time
