Job Description – Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team and support day‑to‑day accounting operations. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices, managing full‑cycle accounts payable, completing bank reconciliations, and ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments. This role also provides support with AR duties and assists in identifying and resolving discrepancies across multiple accounting processes.

The ideal Accounting Specialist will have strong attention to detail, effective organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. • Process invoices with accuracy and efficiency
• Complete full‑cycle AP, including vendor setup, payment processing, and account maintenance
• Prepare and complete monthly bank reconciliations
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely vendor payments
• Assist with AR duties, including reviewing outstanding balances and posting payments
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in financial data
• Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed

• 2+ years of experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a similar accounting role
• Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and general accounting principles
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
