Position SummaryPrimary job responsibilities are to administer travel and entertainment programs, record and track accounts receivable, and process corporate AP invoices for the Company. In this role, the candidate will calculate and post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining AP and AR records, and provide other clerical support necessary.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Manages the administration of Nexonia and Motus travel systems, including direct partnership with American Express, where the individual is responsible for the timely payment and good standing of all corporate credit cards and purchasing cards.
- Approves all levels of management’s Nexonia reports to ensure they are within the confines of the established policies.
- Helps record and collect accounts receivable.
- Active member of the accounts payable team.
- Receive vendor invoices and code to appropriate general ledger accounts. Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies on invoices.
- Ensure the prompt payment of invoices.
- Ability to maintain an organized work atmosphere.
- Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record.
- Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Communicate with employees at all levels of the company.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience or some college education preferred.
- Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear, audible, and grammatically correct manner.
- Ability to operate a computer as well as maneuver relative software programs.
- Sitting required for up to 90% of the daily work schedule.
- Viewing a computer screen for up to 90% of the work time.
- Operating a computer keyboard for up to 90% of the work time.
