Location: Indianapolis
Overview
Location Services is seeking a highly motivated Manager of Finance. This person will plan, oversee and implement the daily operations of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections efforts to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
Responsibilities- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain healthy cash flow
- Oversee the collections efforts and monitor accounts receivable aging by client
- Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly account receivable agings for management and clients and presentation to management
- Participate in client meetings as needed
- Respond to client correspondence and inquiries on outstanding account receivable balances
- Support month-end/quarter-end and year end close process
- Develop and document business and accounting processes as necessary
- Assist in the preparation of general ledger account reconciliations, researching discrepancies and facilitating resolution of discrepancies
- Participate in software development process as necessary
- Establish and maintain financial controls
- Set clear objectives and performance expectations for accounts payable and accounts receivable team, monitor daily/weekly performance, conduct yearly performance reviews, and support training opportunities for the team
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, new regulatory pronouncements, industry trends, and best practices in accounting
- Other job duties as assigned
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or internal audit, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Experience in the automotive, financial, or asset recovery industries is a plus

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Physical RequirementsThis position is indoors. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. May be asked to lift approximately 25 lbs. Exposure to moderate noise and light, i.e. business office with computers, phone, printers, light foot traffic.
