Location: Indianapolis
LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is partnering with a well‑established construction‑related firm to fill a Senior Accountant role. The position offers exposure to the CFO and key support for day‑to‑day accounting operations in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong job costing/WIP experience who enjoys working in a construction setting and seeks visibility with leadership while maintaining work‑life balance.
Responsibilities- Manage work‑in‑progress (WIP) accounting and job costing activities
- Prepare and review client invoicing and support contract tracking
- Assist with payroll processing and related reconciliations
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
- Prepare financial reports and assist with analysis
- Support collections and cash application processes
- Identify process‑improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies
- Partner with accounting leadership and cross‑functional teams on reporting and operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a project‑based or service environment
- Strong experience with WIP, job costing, or percentage‑of‑completion accounting required
