LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a well known small-midsize public accounting firm looking for an Audit Manager. This is a growing firm (great organic growth + acquisitions) with a hybrid work schedule a great employee longevity.

Responsibilities:

• Leading multiple teams and providing performance feedback to all members.
• Anticipating and addressing client concerns and resolving problems as they arise.
• Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.
• Continue learning the latest developments and the firm's standards and policies.
• Staying on top of industry developments and their effects on client's competitive position.
• Supervise the conduct of engagements through drafting of financial statements and completion of financial reports in preparation of final Principal/Shareholder review.
• Plan and manage engagements ensuring compliance, and client satisfaction, within time and budgetary constructs.
• Develop reputation as a business advisor, recommending creative solutions to complex client issues.
• Strategically approach current and future needs of the client by gaining an in-depth understanding of their business and the key risk factors faced.
• Participate in the firm’s practice development efforts by recognizing opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients and developing new client contacts and relationships beneficial to the firm.
• Coach, train, develop, lead and encourage lesser experienced audit/assurance staff.
• Plan, schedule and lead all aspects of assurance engagements. Monitor and review work paper preparation.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of recent and relevant progressive public accounting external audit experience.
• Active CPA
• Organization, communication, technical, time management, and accounting and auditing skills as you work efficiently with clients and adequately work on multiple engagements and teams.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
