Own Cost Accounting & Margin Analysis
Analyze product costs, monitor variances, and provide insights that help leadership understand profitability and improve business performance.
Improve Processes & SystemsEvaluate existing costing and inventory processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop improvements that drive greater accuracy and operational effectiveness.
Partner with OperationsSpend time on the manufacturing floor to understand workflows, production challenges, and cost drivers. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial reporting with operational reality.
Manage Inventory AnalysisSupport inventory valuation, physical inventory processes, and inventory reporting to ensure financial accuracy and control.
Drive Reporting & Decision SupportCreate meaningful analyses and reports that help leaders make informed business decisions regarding costs, pricing, and operational performance.
Leverage Advanced Excel SkillsWork extensively with complex spreadsheets, data analysis, and reporting tools to support costing, inventory, and financial initiatives.
What You Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities
- Understanding of:
- Costing methodologies
- Inventory accounting
- Variance analysis
- Margin reporting
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- ERP experience is a plus
- Accountants who enjoy digging into data and finding answers
