Location: Indianapolis

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to support financial operations, accounting processes, and customer service activities. This role is ideal for candidates with strong bookkeeping, financial recordkeeping, and administrative skills who thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain official financial records and ensure accuracy of accounting transactions
  • Validate and approve invoices while maintaining vendor databases
  • Process payments, vouchers, encumbrances, expenditures, and financial transactions
  • Receive, deposit, distribute, and account for funds and other valuables
  • Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and financial controls
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Audit transactions and maintain accurate accounting documentation
  • Support purchasing activities, inventory control, and contract‑related processes
  • Negotiate settlement of accounts and resolve financial discrepancies
  • Provide reception support and call routing assistance as needed
  • Operate office equipment and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, auditing, contracts, and accounting procedures
  • Experience handling invoices, payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting‑related systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
