Client is seeking an experienced Account Clerk to perform accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, financial reporting, and customer service duties. The role includes maintaining financial records, processing invoices, assisting with budgets, handling payments, and supporting procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate financial and accounting records.
• Process invoices, vouchers, and accounts payable transactions.
• Assist with budget preparation and budget tracking.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Receive, deposit, and reconcile payments.
• Process purchase requisitions and procurement-related tasks.
• Maintain vendor records and financial documentation.
• Perform basic auditing and ensure compliance with policies.
• Answer phone calls and provide customer service.
• Operate standard office equipment and perform general administrative duties.
Required Skills
• 5+ years of bookkeeping or financial recordkeeping experience.
• 5+ years of Accounts Payable/Voucher Processing experience.
• 5+ years of budget preparation and budget control support.
• 5+ years of financial reporting experience.
• 5+ years of procurement and contract knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurately handle financial transactions.
• Must be eligible to be bonded.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with People Soft Financials.
