Overview
The Field Examiner is an audit position with the Indiana State Board of Accounts responsible for designing and performing audit procedures on government units, serving as lead auditor on audit teams, and preparing detailed reports on financial position and compliance. Keyqualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a similar role
- Thorough knowledge of governmental and generally accepted accounting and auditing standards
- Ability to interpret, analyze and record fiscal information to reach logical conclusions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Must attend required continuing professional education annually
