As Senior Manager, Corporate Reporting, you'll serve as a key member of the corporate accounting leadership team, responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting while improving processes across the organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and quarterly reporting packages.
- Prepare reporting schedules supporting the parent company's external reporting requirements.
- Oversee the company's annual stand‑alone financial statements used for Franchise Disclosure Document reporting.
- Serve as the primary contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Lead lease accounting under ASC 842, including oversight of the company's lease accounting system and coordination with the Legal team.
- Oversee key accounting estimates, including impairment analyses and actuarial‑related reserves.
- Perform technical accounting research and prepare accounting position memos.
- Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls and strengthen the overall control environment.
- Partner with Marketing, Operations, Facilities, and other business leaders to improve financial visibility and decision‑making.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce waste, and leverage technology to improve efficiency.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Eight or more years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, consolidations, and technical accounting.
- Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting and external audit management.
- Background in SOX compliance and internal controls.
- Proven leadership experience with a collaborative, coaching‑oriented management style.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Passion for continuous improvement, automation, and applying AI to create more efficient accounting processes.
