Delta Wealth Advisors is an integrated financial services firm dedicated to creating transformations in life and business for executive families and entrepreneurs. Through proactive advisory beyond compliance, innovative solutions that create clarity and confidence, and integrated expertise across tax, wealth management, and business financial planning and analysis, we operate as one firm focused on our clients’ total financial picture.

If you want to belong to a highly collaborative, growth-minded firm that offers a hybrid work environment, unlimited PTO, a competitive compensation package, exposure to a variety of business lines, and a healthy team culture, Delta Wealth Advisors will be a great fit for you!

Here’s a little more about the role we’re hiring for:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and growth-minded accounting professional to join our FP&A / Business Advisory Services team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys executing recurring bookkeeping and accounting work for business clients while continuing to grow their technical skills, client communication abilities, and professional judgment in a modern, advisory-focused environment.

As the Associate Advisor I – FP&A [Staff Accountant / CAS Associate], we are counting on you to accurately execute routine bookkeeping and recurring accounting work for assigned clients while owning the day-to-day delivery of a small portfolio of Accounting Basics clients. This role turns complete client information into accurate financial records, identifies discrepancies, and prepares assigned accounts and work papers for the month-end close process.

You

will enjoy this type of work if you get, want, and have the capacity to excel in:
  • Transaction Processing & Bookkeeping Accuracy: Record and categorize client transactions accurately, maintain supporting documentation, and ensure routine financial activity is complete and reflected in the appropriate accounts.
  • Account Reconciliations & Month-End Preparation: Complete assigned bank, credit card, and other routine account reconciliations; investigate differences; correct errors within your authority; and prepare accounts and work papers for the next stage of month-end close.
  • Accounting Basics Portfolio Delivery: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned Accounting Basics clients, answer routine bookkeeping questions, manage recurring deliverables, and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Discrepancy Identification & Escalation: Recognize missing, duplicate, unusual, or improperly recorded activity; resolve routine discrepancies; and escape unresolved accounting questions with clear documentation of what has already been reviewed.
  • Workflow & Documentation Discipline: Complete assigned tasks by established deadlines, maintain accurate workflow status, follow standardized processes, and ensure completed work is organized and ready for review or handoff.
How Success Will Be Measured:

Success in this role means routine bookkeeping and accounting work is accurate, complete, and delivered on time;
Accounting Basics clients receive dependable day-to-day service; and senior team members can trust that reconciliations and documentation are complete and that identified discrepancies have been resolved or clearly escalated before work advances to the next stage of the month-end close.

On Day 1, you should already have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, Client Accounting Services, outsourced accounting, public accounting, or another multi-client accounting environment
  • Hands-on experience recording and categorizing transactions, maintaining supporting documentation, and completing bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Working understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, journal entries, and month-end accounting processes
  • Experience working with Quick Books Online and Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to identify discrepancies, investigate routine accounting issues, and recognize when a question requires escalation
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, recurring workflows, and competing deadlines while maintaining…
