A growing commercial real estate investment firm in the Carmel area is hiring a Property Accountant for its small in-house accounting team.
Role Scope
- Full ownership of the accounting cycle, not a single narrow function
- Accounts payable and invoice coding
- Cash receipts
- Month end close
- Regular contact with tenants, vendors, and property managers
What They're Looking For
- Strong foundational accounting skills with real command of the financial statements
- Comfort owning the full cycle rather than one isolated task
- Someone who thrives in a small, collaborative company where everyone pitches in
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
- Experience with a property accounting system such as Yardi, MRI, or Real Page is a plus
- Real estate accounting experience is welcome but not required; the company is glad to teach the property side to a strong accountant
