Position: Construction Project Accountant (Indianapolis, IN)
Location: Indianapolis

Position: Project Accountant
Reports to: Project Executive or Program Manager
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000
We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform billing functions for construction project(s)
  • Maintain a timely and organized invoicing process and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate and communicate with Project Operations and external stakeholders to keep the monthly billing on time and accurate
  • Work with the Project Team and the Accounting/Finance Teams to resolve discrepancies/questions
  • Continuously analyze project costs to ensure effectiveness and accuracy
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to cross functional partners
  • Support customer audits
Your Expertise
  • Required:

    You have at least 1 year of experience in billing, and/or project accounting or finance
  • Required:

    You’re familiar with accounting software and spreadsheets
  • Bonus Points:

    You’re familiar with accounting/finance in the construction industry
  • Bonus Points:

    You’ve earned your bachelor's degree in accounting, construction management, cost management, finance, or a related field
