Accounting Assistant, Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk, Accounts Receivable/ Collections

ResponsibilitiesProcess and enter accounts payable invoices and accounts receivable transactions
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and general ledger accounts
Research and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies
Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities
Prepare reports and spreadsheets for the accounting team
Review financial information for accuracy and completeness
Support data entry and recordkeeping functions within the accounting department
Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries in a timely manner
Assist with special projects and administrative duties as assigned
High school diploma required;
Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or accounting clerk experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with month‑end close activities
Knowledge of general ledger accounting principles
Experience working in a high‑volume transactional environment
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or Sage
Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
