We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support daily financial operations for a growing organization in Fortville, Indiana. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-focused, and confident handling both incoming and outgoing transactions with accuracy. The role will contribute to smooth accounting workflows by maintaining reliable records, processing invoices, and assisting with routine clerical finance tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting details, and prepare payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Record customer payments, monitor outstanding balances, and help maintain current accounts receivable records
• Enter financial information into accounting systems with a high level of precision and consistency
• Reconcile account activity and investigate discrepancies to support accurate month-to-month reporting
• Maintain organized documentation for invoices, payment records, and related accounting files
• Assist with Quick Books data management, including transaction entry and record updates
• Communicate with internal teams and external contacts to resolve billing or payment questions efficiently
