OverviewWe are looking for a highly motivated individual to perform a variety of accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, inventory management, and inter-company balancing. This position collaborates closely with the Division Manager, Controller, Yard Managers, Corporate Accounting, and Divisional Accounting personnel.
Responsibilities- Perform financial statement review and analysis
- Record journal entries
- Complete account reconciliations
- Create and update monthly forecasts
- Reconcile inter-company transactions
- Monitor and participate in perpetual inventory activities
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Assit with other daily and month-end accounting fun cations, as needed
Required
- 4-Year Accounting degree
- At least 3 years of accounting experience
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Accounting software knowledge – experience with RIMAS a plus
- Strong oral and written comminication skills
Preferred
- Active CPA
