Location: Indianapolis

My client is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing audit practice.

This position offers the opportunity to work with non-profit organizations and affordable housing entities
.

The Audit Senior will lead engagement fieldwork, supervise staff, and work closely with the owner to provide high-quality audit and assurance services.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification required.
  • Minimum of three years of audit and accounting experience in public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting/audit software.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and perform financial statement audits, reviews, and compliance engagements.
  • Prepare and review audit work papers and financial statements.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train audit staff during engagements.
  • Evaluate internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and those charged with governance.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through responsive and professional service.
  • Collaborate with managers and partners to ensure engagements are completed efficiently and in accordance with professional standards.
