A growing public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Tax (Senior) Manager to join its Indianapolis team. This is a leadership opportunity to advise middle-market businesses and business owners on complex tax planning, consulting, and compliance matters while helping drive the growth of a well-established tax practice.
Responsibilities:- Lead complex tax engagements and client relationships
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services
- Review federal, state, and local tax returns
- Mentor and develop tax professionals
- Support business development and practice growth initiatives /li>
- Bachelor's degree required
- Active CPA (or equivalent certification)
- 8+ years of public accounting or related experience
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong client-facing and leadership skills
- Hybrid schedule (3 days in office)
- Established tax team of 75+ professionals
- Diverse client base across multiple industries
