Accounts Payable

Join Tom Wood Inc as an Accounts Payable Specialist in our Indianapolis, IN location. This role involves managing and processing invoices, ensuring accurate payment records, and supporting the finance team to maintain smooth financial operations.

• Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and accounting codes.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor files and ensure timely payments.
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment issues.
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting related to accounts payable.

• Previous experience in accounts payable or related financial role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for interacting with vendors and colleagues.

• Competitive pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
