Key Responsibilities
- Core Accounting & Compliance: Utilize ERP modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) to process journal entries, manage intercompany reconciliations, lead month-end closes, and ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Workflow Automation & AI Integration: Automate recurring accounting processes and construct intuitive dashboards/reports within ERP and supporting data tools to streamline reporting accuracy.
- Systems & Process Optimization: Lead and support ERP upgrades, system implementations, and process enhancements to scale operations as business demands evolve.
- Audit & Analysis: Coordinate directly with internal and external auditors during annual reviews and handle ad-hoc financial analysis for special projects.
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. CPA, CIA, or CMA certification preferred.
- Experience: 5 to 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with hands-on proficiency in ERP systems.
- Tech-Forward Mindset: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Experience with Alteryx Designer (Core or Advanced) or AI-driven automation tools is highly preferred.
- Core Competencies: Strong technical accounting skills, an analytical problem-solving mindset, and the ability to drive continuous improvement while maintaining auditability, accuracy, and confidentiality.
