Overview

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, led by Prosecutor Ryan Mears, is setting new expectations in the criminal justice system and is committed to a fair and equitable system. The Child Support Division works to encourage non‑custodial parents to take financial responsibility for the benefit of their children. Services include paternity establishment, locating non‑custodial parents, and modification and enforcement of child support orders.

The Office does not represent either party in a child support case and seeks a just and fair outcome. The Enforcement/Modification Unit Trainer will provide direction and training to all Child Support employees, reflecting the Office’s commitment to fairness and justice for all who come into contact with the system. The Office seeks employees who are dedicated to public service, public safety, and fairness.
