The Human Resource department at Firefly Children & Family Alliance is currently seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant in Indianapolis, IN. This position is on-site, part-time, Monday through Friday, at our office located at 2240 N Meridian St. Our Administrative Assistant will support our Human Resource team with administrative tasks. You will report to the Director of Human Resources.
ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Support (70%)
- Provide support to the employee training system.
- Prepare and execute reports for internal and external audits.
- Assist with intern program analysis.
- Assist in compiling other HR-related data, which includes student loan repayment benefits, tuition reimbursement, and maintaining employee records.
Onboarding and Orientation (20%)
- Work with the HR team to deliver an informative, engaging, and helpful orientation process.
- Add new hires to Paycom.
Recruiting (10%)
- As needed, participate in job fairs and other external recruiting opportunities.
- Provide helpful and accurate information about the organization by developing an understanding of the culture of Firefly Children & Family Alliance, and communicate that while serving as a contact for HR inquiries.
- High School Diplomaorequivalent and two years of administrative experience.
- Mustbeatleast
21yearsofage. - Valid driver'slicensewithvalidinsurance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook); able to acquire knowledge and mastery of internal proprietary database and systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge of non-profit social services preferred, but not required.
