About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a long-standing title agency that runs a busy pipeline and does things the right way—clean files, strong internal process, and professional communication with customers. They’re adding an Escrow Assistant to support their Title Officers and closing team by handling commitment/CPL updates, pre-close downdates, and the day-to-day admin work that keeps transactions on track.

This role is built for someone who has real title experience and understands how important accuracy is when you’re working with recorded documents and time-sensitive closing deadlines.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Answer emails from customers and internal teams about title file updates
  • Fix and update Title Commitments and CPLs when changes are needed
  • Before a closing, re-check the file (“downdate”) to see if anything new popped up, and alert the closing team if it did
  • Create invoices for update work that isn’t tied to a closing
  • If there’s a title issue, send it to the right person internally so it gets resolved fast
  • Prepare and organize documents and instructions needed for closing
  • Keep files clean and accurate (proofread, file, copy, and stay organized across multiple files)
What They’re Looking For
  • 1+ year of title industry experience (title office, escrow/title support, title processing support, commitments/CPL exposure)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfort reading/understanding recorded documents (basic title search knowledge is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail—this role is quality-driven and deadline-driven
  • Clear written communication (you’ll be working heavily in email) and strong professionalism with customers
Why You’ll Love It There
  • Solid benefits package and long-term stability
  • Consistent weekday schedule in-office (no shifting hours)
  • A role that’s operationally important—your work directly impacts closing timelines and customer experience
