Overview

Nexstar Media Group is hiring a Traffic Coordinator to manage commercial and programming logs for 200 stations across 117 markets. The role involves coordinating with stations, scheduling ads, and ensuring accurate traffic data for continuous broadcast operations.

Responsibilities
  • Create and adjust new orders and existing logs.
  • Process incoming sales orders and translate contracts into the sales module.
  • Generate daily commercial and programming logs for all stations.
  • Schedule commercials and apply traffic instructions to each scheduled spot.
  • Manage inventory, database library, and broadcast automation to resolve logistical issues.
  • Collaborate across departments (sales, engineering, master control, etc.) and communicate with television professionals nationwide.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient English communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong data‑entry accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience interpreting sales contracts.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Computer proficiency and quick learning of new software.
  • At least one year of clerical support or administrative experience.
