It operates state‑of‑the‑art facilities at the Battery Innovation Center and Oak Ridge National Lab.

Job Description

As an Office Manager, you will help facilitate a smooth operation of the company’s day‑to‑day activities as well as long‑term requirements and provide support across all teams. The ideal candidate is innately organized, resourceful, dependable, highly detail‑oriented, and possesses strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. In the fast‑paced startup environment, excellent collaboration and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day administrative operations in the company
  • Managing and booking meetings
  • Reserving lab spaces for work and meeting rooms on a recurring basis
  • Coordinating employees’ schedules
  • Handling purchases, procurement, and shipment/receipt of packages
  • Researching and evaluating new back‑office support systems
  • Helping keep lab and office space clean and organized
  • Long‑term administrative operations
  • Planning social events, corporate events, and conducting company improvement surveys
  • Helping schedule customer/partner on‑site visits
  • Organizing travel arrangements for all employees and ensuring all details are addressed
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a related field (communications, OLS)
  • Strong computer skills, including business and productivity software (MS Office, calendar management, other cloud‑based services)
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning and Project Management software (Click Up)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills, resourcefulness, and problem‑solving skills
  • Willingness and initiative to work and grow
  • Must be able to help solve problems and take initiative without much input
  • Related practical/prior experience in a professional office environment
