Receptionist
Location: Shady Nook Nursing and Rehab – Lawrenceburg, IN
Shady Nook Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Receptionist to join our skilled nursing facility in Lawrenceburg, IN.
The primary purpose of this position is to manage answering phones, greeting residents, families, and visitors, and scheduling appointments in a professional and timely manner. This position also handles administrative tasks to support daily facility operations.
Shift Available- Part-Time
- Weekends Only
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Create and post monthly staff schedules, track and post changes, and approve trades in the absence of the DON or as delegated.
- Maintain timely records of call-offs, tardies, and early arrivals and coordinate daily with Human Resources to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly.
- Provide accurate and timely reports to the DON, Facility Administrator, and management regarding staffing, vacancies, agency use, and other assigned topics.
- Prepare and submit accurate, complete payroll reports in a timely manner.
- Verify employment data and background information for job applicants.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously.
- Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent computer skills required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- COVID-19 vaccine required unless an approved exemption is presented upon hire.
