Part Sales & Shipping Clerk
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $23-26/hr+(Based on experience) Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Pro Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Part Sales & Shipping Clerk for a growing manufacturing company in Indianapolis, IN. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of customer interaction, order processing, logistics, and administrative work in a fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for someone who can stay organized, communicate professionally, and manage multiple priorities while supporting both parts sales and shipping operations.
Responsibilities:- Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding parts inquiries, quotes, and orders
- Research parts pricing and availability with suppliers and vendors
- Prepare and process customer quotes and purchase orders
- Enter and manage orders in the company ERP system (Epicor experience is a plus)
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments
- Prepare shipping paperwork, freight documents, and customs documentation as needed
- Schedule pickups and communicate with transportation companies
- Receive, verify, package, and stage parts for shipment
- Track order status and maintain accurate records in Excel and internal systems
- Work closely with accounting regarding invoicing and order updates
- Answer incoming calls and assist with general office support duties
- Assist with additional projects and administrative tasks as needed
- Previous experience in customer service, parts sales, shipping/logistics, or office administration preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, order tracking, and shipping documentation
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience required
- ERP system experience preferred, but training will be provided
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with international shipping or manufacturing environments is a plus
