Missions

Under the authority of the administrator, you will assume part-time administrative assistant duties, secretariat tasks, and support the administrative and financial manager by ensuring continuity of service in their absence. You will also perform part-time cashier-seller duties. You contribute to the enhancement of the monument through the quality of your welcome. You collect entrance fees from visitors to ensure the collection of the establishment's revenues.

You welcome and offer visitors the products from the sales counters to contribute to the increase of commercial revenues. The distribution of your working time between your main duties will evolve according to the periods of the year, with more administrative work in the low season and more cashier and sales time in the high season.

Main Activities

Secretariat and logistics:

  • Receive and filter telephone communications
  • Receive and sort mail and emails, especially on the generic castle email, and handle reservation requests
  • Write administrative documents
  • Participate in the follow-up of the activity of the district (dashboards and statistics)
Budget and finances:
  • Assist the manager in the daily financial management of the monuments: entry of commitments in the accounting application, ordering of expenses (writing of administrative certificates, liquidation of invoices for payment, transmission of payment requests, filing and archiving of supporting documents)
  • Assist the manager in the budget and accounting follow-up of expenses: monitoring of envelopes, consumptions, supervision of the good level of execution
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the quality of financial management within the monument (respect of procedures, deadlines, and good follow-up of execution)
  • Participate in the follow-up of travel dossiers
Cashier and sales:
  • Welcome the public and inform them about the proposed rates
  • Collect entrance fees after checking the special rate justifications and issue tickets
  • Restock the ticket offices (tickets, cards…)
  • Inform and advise visitors on the products from the sales counters
  • Sell products and collect the corresponding sales amounts
  • Maintain the good presentation of the items
Profile Sought

Technical skills:

  • Graduated with a BAC or BTS in Accounting, or a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an equivalent function.
  • Mastery of office tools (Office Pack) and common management software.
Know-how:
  • Analyze accounting and financial data
  • Collect, control, and verify information
  • Apply financial rules
  • Mastery of public management circuits
