Interviews customers, gathers information, and records interview information into computer for customer service by performing the following duties:

• Foster a positive attitude toward retailers and home buyers
• Answer incoming phone calls and e-mail inquiries
• Serve as an interface between homeowners, retailers and Champion Home Builders to resolve warranty issues
• Interpret and explain warranty coverage to retailers and homeowners
• Write accurate service orders and parts orders for contractors and technicians to complete warranty work
• Take ownership of specific individual duties as assigned by supervisors
• Able to work without close supervision
• Manage warranty work using proprietary software
• Send weekly reports to retailers
• Create material invoices for retailer purchases
• Order and track materials
• Filing
• Ability to read blueprints

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
