The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is seeking candidates for the 2nd Trombone/Assistant Principal position. Auditions will take place from January 17 to January 19, 2027, and all rounds will be conducted behind a screen to ensure fairness. A trial week will be required for the successful candidate following the audition process.
This position is part of a 42-week orchestra season and is set to commence at the beginning of the 2027-28 season. The annual base salary for this role is $74,000, and the orchestra offers benefits including health insurance coverage and contributions to a 403b retirement plan.
