- Manages administrative operations and tasks and develops comprehensive plans and strategies for the execution of the mission of the organization.
- Forecasts potential staffing and support requirements, resolves administrative problems, and plans and projects times.
- Coordinates administrative assignments and analyzes the administrative process to improve the effectiveness of the administrative process.
- Monitors status of tasks and projects to measure progress, to ensure completion by suspense data, and to identify variances effecting the successful completion.
- Ensures that the Director's commitments are covered by an alternate when the Director is not available.

- The incumbent of this position will be required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance and work will be performed in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
- The incumbent may be placed on a lower level security clearance initially while the Top Secret/SCI clearance is being adjudicated.
- The Incumbent will perform duties outside of the SCIF based on the clearance level they are initially cleared for until the Top Secret/SCI clearance is obtained.
Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: Managing administrative operations and task of an organization, providing senior leader and executive-level administrative support and communicating with senior level staff and high-ranking internal and external officials.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
