CARSON DESIGN ASSOCIATES designs, plans and supports facilities and workplace solutions for premium corporate clients. This role directly supports the onsite client team, ensuring a productive, supportive, and efficient work environment for all personnel.
The Ergo Specialist will be responsible for managing day to day workplace ergonomic service requests. This dynamic position acts as a critical back-up for facilities requests (including furniture and equipment) and provides hands‑on assistance with move management projects. The ideal candidate balances meticulous space‑planning data with exceptional, client‑facing service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Ergonomic Request Management: Coordinate and act as primary point of contact for ergonomic solutions to align with requests.
- Service Request Support: Act as the primary backup for furniture, equipment, and general workplace service requests.
- Move Management: Assist the facilities team with office relocations, space coordination, and floorplan adjustments.
- Request Management: Execute routine and highly repetitive requests efficiently under quick‑turnaround timelines.
- Platform Operations: Master and utilize onsite proprietary systems, including Archibus and Shopify
, to log, track, and complete service tickets.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Customer Service: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate smoothly with onsite personnel.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong proficiency in standard Microsoft Programs (
Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point ). - Floorplan & Measurement Literacy: Basic knowledge of how to accurately read floor plans and utilize physical measuring tools.
- Project & Time Management: Self‑motivated ability to organize, prioritize, and multi‑task across fast‑moving projects.
- Problem‑Solving: Highly adaptable mindset with the ability to troubleshoot facilities or ergonomic issues independently.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- AutoCAD: Basic understanding or baseline familiarity with AutoCAD software.
- Industry Knowledge: General familiarity with commercial office furniture and systems.
- Scheduling
Experience:
Prior experience managing calendars, coordinating appointments, or scheduling large‑scale rollouts.
