H&K Chevrolet is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. We offer a great family focused environment with no Saturday hours!!

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs
• Repair and replace vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain diagnoses and recommended repairs
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role required
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of automotive systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• ASE certification preferred
