We are hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose issues, complete repairs, and maintain vehicle performance with a strong focus on workmanship and technical accuracy. This role is well suited for someone who prefers hands-on problem-solving, works independently for extended periods, and follows established service and safety standards carefully.
Core Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle systems using established procedures and technical documentation
- Perform routine maintenance services, including inspections, testing, adjustments, and part replacement
- Document findings, completed work, and recommended repairs accurately in service records
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify root causes and verify repair quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area while following shop procedures and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working through technical problems independently
- Ability to follow detailed procedures, specifications, and safety requirements consistently
- Careful documentation habits and attention to repair accuracy
- Comfort spending sustained time on focused, hands-on work with limited need for frequent social interaction
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment, repair manuals, and service systems
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or in a related vehicle service role
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to move, inspect, and test vehicles as needed
- ASE certification or manufacturer-specific training preferred
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence
