Tom Wood Porsche is seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. This individual will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Porsche vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards while delivering an exceptional ownership experience for every customer.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about automotive technology, committed to quality workmanship, and eager to continuously expand their technical expertise.

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance according to Porsche and dealership standards.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and repair procedures to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently while documenting all work performed.
• Follow all warranty guidelines and manufacturer repair procedures.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Parts Personnel, and fellow technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and identify recommended maintenance or repair opportunities.
• Create and submit required inspection videos, photos, and documentation to support customer recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in Porsche training, certification programs, and dealership development opportunities.
• Test drive vehicles as necessary to verify repairs and diagnose issues.
• Consistently deliver quality workmanship that minimizes comebacks and enhances customer satisfaction.

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Porsche, European luxury, or high-line vehicle experience will be prioritized in selection.
• ASE certifications and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, drivetrain, and vehicle performance concerns.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Experience using diagnostic scan tools and manufacturer software.
• Knowledge of Porsche vehicle systems and processes.
• Experience with video MPI inspections and digital repair documentation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and technical development.
