, where you will play a key role in executing and supporting ACBL's grain commercial strategy. This role is an individual contributor position designed for commercial professionals who want meaningful ownership of grain customer execution without enterprise‑level strategy responsibility.
This role is well‑suited for commercial professionals with a range of experience who are focused on execution and results, and who are interested in expanding their market knowledge and responsibilities within the agricultural transportation industry. Internal level and title will be aligned as Sales Manager or Sales Director based on experience and scope.

What you will be doing… Your IMPACT- Own and manage assigned grain customer relationships and commercial execution
- Support pricing development, contract administration, and commercial negotiations
- Execute commercial strategies developed by senior leadership for the grain portfolio
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day customer needs and inquiries
- Partner closely with Operations and Planning teams to align service execution with customer expectations
- Monitor market conditions, customer activity, and lane performance
- Prepare commercial reports, customer updates, and basic market analysis
- Participate in customer meetings, reviews, and internal commercial discussions
- Build deep knowledge of ACBL's assets, services, and inland waterway network
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, supply chain, logistics, or a related field
- Experience or strong interest in grain, agriculture, logistics, or transportation
- Ability to own commercial execution and manage customer relationships independently
- Self‑driven, accountable, and results‑oriented mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid analytical, organizational, and time‑management abilities
- Comfort working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Commercial, sales, or customer‑facing experience in agriculture, commodities, or logistics
- Exposure to bulk transportation, supply chain, or commodity markets
- Experience managing pricing, contracts, or customer portfolios
