Job DescriptionThe Procurement Specialist - Trading Products is responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of trading products at country level. The role aims to optimize cost, quality, and supply continuity while ensuring alignment with Sika's procurement strategies, policies, and ethical standards.
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities- Execute the end-to-end operational procurement of trading products at country level, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and supply reliability.
- Conduct supplier negotiations on prices, volumes, quality requirements, and delivery conditions.
- Prepare, validate, and approve purchase orders within delegated authority, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, continuity of supply, and adherence to agreed quality standards.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies, and track realized savings.
- Monitor procurement performance through defined KPIs and ensure timely reporting using standard templates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement and supplier master data within the ERP system, supporting reporting needs.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, internal procurement policies, procedures, and the Sika Code of Conduct.
- Participate in physical inventory counts and support stock accuracy initiatives as required.
- Master's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in an operational procurement role.
- Good understanding of procurement processes and supplier negotiations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (preferred) or similar systems for purchase orders, reporting, and master data management.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written),
